description

3LPE steel pipe  is a special anticorrosion structure for buried pipelines with three layers of materials sequentially coated on the outer wall of the pipe: the bottom layer is fusion bonded epoxy powder (FBE), which provides excellent adhesion and cathodic stripping protection; the middle layer is a copolymer adhesive, which ensures inter-layer adhesion; and the outermost layer is extruded-coated high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which provides excellent mechanical protection, impact resistance, and anti-soil stress performance. This composite structure greatly enhances the long-term corrosion resistance of the pipe in harsh environments.

Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Primer (≥80μm): Provides cathodic disbondment resistance and adhesion.

Polymer Adhesive Layer (170–250μm): Bonds FBE to the outer polyethylene.

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Topcoat (1.5–3.0mm): Offers mechanical protection and moisture barrier.

Designed for extreme environments (e.g., subsea, acidic soil, high salinity), it extends pipeline service life to ≥50 years with near-zero maintenance. Widely used in oil/gas transmission, water utilities, and chemical industries.

Water Conservancy and Municipal Engineering: Large-scale water diversion and transmission projects (especially crossing sections and corrosive areas). Seawater desalination plant inlet and outlet pipelines. Municipal water supply and drainage main pipelines (with high corrosion resistance requirements). Hydropower station pressure pipelines.

Chemical and Industrial Applications: Process pipelines for transporting corrosive media (chemical raw materials, wastewater, slurry, tailings). Chemical water treatment pipelines. Power plant circulating water pipelines and demineralized water pipelines.

Transportation of 3LPE steel pipe needs to focus on preventing and controlling deformation and coating damage. Customized curved saddle brackets are used to prevent displacement, collision and radial deformation. Sea transportation is optional:

Container transportation: suitable for short distance, small batch, good protection;

Bulk Carrier Deck Loading: Economical, requires specialized lashing to prevent movement;

Pipe Carrier: special ship for special transportation, highest efficiency and safety, high cost.
