Project Background

Turkmenistan possesses vast oil and natural gas reserves, making it a critical energy hub in the Central Asian region. To optimize production and ensure long-term energy extraction stability, the country continuously invests in upgrading its oilfield collection networks and infrastructure. For a major oilfield capacity enhancement project, the operator required a highly specific batch of seamless steel pipes fabricated to Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regional standards. Allland Pipe stepped up to fulfill this supply framework, delivering a wide dimensional range of GOST 8732-78 ST20 seamless pipes integrated with heavy-duty 3LPE external anti-corrosion protection.

Client Challenge

  • Strict Regional Standard Adherence: Projects in Turkmenistan mandate compliance with traditional GOST standards. Sourcing manufacturers capable of strictly matching GOST 8732-78 dimensional tolerances and ST20 metallurgical criteria is a common bottleneck for international procurement teams.
  • Complex Multi-Size Configuration: The contract required seamless pipes spanning from small-diameter lines () up to medium-diameter gathering trunks (). Every single size needed a highly uniform  Three-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) coating to defend against aggressive desert soil corrosion.
  • Supply Chain and Logistical Efficiency: Operating in landlocked Central Asia increases transport complexity. The client demanded severe cost-optimization alongside a rapid logistics response to ensure materials arrived at the remote oilfield site exactly aligned with the active drilling schedule.

Our Solution and Results

  • Precision GOST Standard Manufacturing: Allland Pipe utilized its dedicated seamless hot-rolling mills to process the ST20 grade steel plates into exact GOST-compliant dimensions. Our production lines guaranteed excellent concentricity, superior tensile strength, and exact wall thickness uniformity across all sizes.
  • High-Thickness 3LPE Anti-Corrosion: Immediately following structural inspection, the pipes passed through our automated extrusion lines to receive a  thick single-pass 3PE coating layer. This high-density barrier ensures extreme resistance against mechanical impacts and soil stress during desert deployment.
  • Optimized Remote Support & Packaging: To assist our remote clients, Allland provided total supply chain transparency and digital technical support. To secure the cargo during long overland rail and truck freight, the pipes were systematically bundled, strapped with high-tensile bands, and fitted with robust red end-caps to safeguard the interior from dust and moisture.

Project Outcomes

The supplied GOST seamless casing and line pipes were successfully deployed, run, and cemented into the Turkmenistan oilfield network, flawlessly meeting the tight drilling schedule. The project operator highly praised Allland Pipe for our exceptional cost-performance ratio, rapid response times, and the efficiency of our remote technical coordination. This successful contract further elevates Allland Pipe’s strategic capability as a primary B2B partner for critical infrastructure projects operating under GOST criteria across Central Asia and the CIS market.
