The straight weld seam enables easier ultrasonic and X-ray inspection and LSAW pipes are mainly preferred for offshore pipeliness and high pressure onshore transmission lines as failing these lines is not a choice.
• Ssaw Steel Pipes: For long-distance, cross-country transmission projects, our SSAW pipes offer an unbeatable combination of structural integrity and cost-efficiency. By welding the steel strip in a spiral helix, we can produce incredibly large diameters from standard coil widths. The spiral weld distributes stress differently than a straight seam, often providing enhanced resistance to crack propagation. Our SSAW pipes are the backbone of many regional water distribution and mid-pressure gas networks.

Advanced Anti-Corrosion Coatings for 50+ Year Lifespans

A steel pipe is only as strong as the coating that covers it. In low soil resistivity or high chemical exposure environments, the steel is exposed to rapid decay if left bare. Allland Steel Pipe has its own in-house fully automated coating line, which allows for seamless bonding between the steel surface and the protective layer.
