application

This groove-type end cap is used to seal the end ports of pipeline systems, achieving permanent or temporary closure through quick locking with groove clamps.

Typical applications include:

  • temporary sealing during pressure testing of fire protection/HVAC pipelines;
  • long-term dust and moisture protection for decommissioned pipeline sections;
  • isolation of pipeline sections during maintenance;
  • and sealing of reserved interfaces in newly constructed pipelines to prevent foreign object entry.

advantages

1. High-efficiency sealing protection: The groove structure works with rubber seals to achieve zero leakage sealing under 300–500 psi pressure, blocking water vapor, dust, and impurities.

2. Installation and removal in seconds: No welding or threading required; installation can be completed with a single clamp lock, saving 90% of construction time.

3. Exceptional Durability: The ductile iron body resists pressure and deformation, while the hot-dip galvanized/red paint coating protects against chemical corrosion and UV aging, making it suitable for outdoor conditions.

4. Safety Certification Assurance: Certified by UL/FM international standards, compliant with fire safety and industrial pipeline safety standards.

5. Full Size Coverage: Supports sealing requirements for pipes ranging from 1“ to 14”, compatible with various pipe material standards.

packing

  • Individual items are protected with a rust-proof oil coating and fully wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent damage from transportation impacts and moisture.
  • Small-sized end caps (1“-6”) are packaged in corrugated cardboard boxes with EPE foam inserts for separation and positioning. Each box includes a product label (including dimensions and standards) and a certificate of conformity.
  • Large-sized end caps (8“-14”) are shipped in reinforced five-layer corrugated cardboard boxes, lined with honeycomb paperboard for added strength, and secured with plastic strapping.
  • All outer boxes are clearly printed with: product name, specifications (e.g., “DN150”), quantity, gross weight/net weight, “UL/FM” certification mark, and “↑Upward” and “Moisture-Proof” icons.
  • Export packaging complies with the ISTA 3A transportation test standard. A custom wooden box option is available for the 14″ specification (additional charges apply).
