This groove-type end cap is used to seal the end ports of pipeline systems, achieving permanent or temporary closure through quick locking with groove clamps.

Typical applications include:

  • temporary sealing during pressure testing of fire protection/HVAC pipelines;
  • long-term dust and moisture protection for decommissioned pipeline sections;
  • isolation of pipeline sections during maintenance;
  • and sealing of reserved interfaces in newly constructed pipelines to prevent foreign object entry.

  • Small-sized end caps (1“-6”) are packaged in corrugated cardboard boxes with EPE foam inserts for separation and positioning. Each box includes a product label (including dimensions and standards) and a certificate of conformity.
  • Large-sized end caps (8“-14”) are shipped in reinforced five-layer corrugated cardboard boxes, lined with honeycomb paperboard for added strength, and secured with plastic strapping.
  • All outer boxes are clearly printed with: product name, specifications (e.g., “DN150”), quantity, gross weight/net weight, “UL/FM” certification mark, and “↑Upward” and “Moisture-Proof” icons.
  • Export packaging complies with the ISTA 3A transportation test standard. A custom wooden box option is available for the 14″ specification (additional charges apply).
